Canadian cinematic motion tech manufacturer, D-Box, is set to recover after a Ransomware attack left their IT network disabled last month. Electronic Data stored on the organization’s network was encrypted by malware and affected most of the company’s systems.

D-Box has said that most of their business operations were affected for several days since first revealing the attack on July 14. The company is expecting to fully resume operations as “all major IT systems have been restored and the restoration work should be finalized in the next few weeks.”

While details of the incident and costs are still unknown, the company expects minimal financial impact after D-Box’s CEO Sebastien Mailhot stated, “Security is a top priority and D-BOX is committed to continuing to take all appropriate measures to ensure the highest integrity of all our systems.”
